Joshua Ojall

Joshua Ojall is an honest and visionary leader. These traits resulted in the tremendous growth of Mwalimu National SACCO as the leading SACCO not only Kenya, but Africa. Before retiring in 2014, He spent 29 years working in the SACCO sector, of which he served his last 18 years as CEO. Prior to joining the SACCO, he worked as an Accountant for 5 years at the Ministry of Finance. He is now involved, in Partnership with Canadian Cooperative Association, an Initiative to Strengthen SACCOs in Uganda. Joshua holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree and a CPA.

George Mbira

George Mbira is an experienced banker with over 15 years’ experience in the banking industry having worked for Rafiki MFB, Chase Bank, African Banking Corporation, Equity Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Safaricom Limited and Coca-cola in various capacities. He is a seasoned professional in business development, risk management, compliance and project management. He was a Co-Founder and General Manager of Rafiki Microfinance Bank. He oversaw its growth from formation to an asset base of KES. 10 Billion in a short five years operation. He holds an MBA from Strathmore Business School, a global module of Pan African EMBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (1st class honors) from Egerton University. He is also a CISA and CPA.

Charlene Mukuhi

Charlene Mukuhi is an entrepreneur and a seasoned banker with over 15 years experience. Currently the Finance and Marketing manager Charoza Farm, Limuru. She has held senior positions in credit management at Spire Bank, NIC Bank and ABC Bank. She holds an MBA in Project Planning and Management, University of Nairobi; a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Moi University and a Higher Diploma in French from Alliance Francaise.

Njung’e Kamau

Njung’e Kamau has 25 years extensive local and international professional working experience. He commenced his career with Ernst &Young, Lonrho Africa Plc as a Senior Auditor covering 14 countries, and EABL in various capacities. Prior to joining Family Bank as Finance & Strategy Director, he was the Head of Finance at Equity Bank. He holds an MBA in Finance and a B. Com Degree (Accounting Option) from the University of Nairobi. He studied Macroeconomics at Harvard University, International Banking Summer School (IBSS) in Australia and Effective Director (ED) & Advanced Management Programme (AMP) from Strathmore University, Lagos University and IESE-Barcelona, Spain University. He is also a CPA-K, CPS-K and CFM.

Neil Ribeiro

Neil is a tested leader whose focus has revolved mainly around startups and turn arounds. He has over 20 years’ experience in the airline, manufacturing, e-commerce, catering, fast food and financial advising realms. He has also managed multi-units in several countries, and have worked both in the 1st world and emerging economies. Currently, he is the C.E.O. at Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services, Director at Exec Cars Ltd and Partner at Warren International – Food Service Specialist. He previously was the Group C.E.O. at EAGM, Director, Business Development at Starlit Insurance Brokers, Head of Projects at Chase Bank and General Manager at Winton Investment Services Ltd. He holds Bachelor of Science in Health Profession (BSHP) from Texas State University, and also went to Angelo State University.

David Wangai

David holds an MBA in Finance and Administration from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology, A BSc in Finance from Kenya Methodist University, he also holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance from College of Insurance, is a graduate of Strathmore University’s Senior Management Leadership Program (SMLP) and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

He has over 10 years banking experience and has held different capacities with Rafiki Microfinance Bank as the Head of Business Banking, previously worked for Equity Bank Limited in various managerial capacities with specialty in Operations, Credit Risk Analysis, Agency, Business Development and Finance management.

David serves on the board of Kagoto Polytechnic duly appointed by the County Executive Board of Nakuru as the Finance Director.
